News paper

最近勉強を兼ねて、寝る前に英語で小説と新聞を読むことにしている。

Recently's my hobby is reading English book and news paper.

ばあばがこないだ令和になった時、New York Timesの一面を見せてくれて

When Japan start "Reiwa", Baa ba gave me a some articles of New York Times.

三ページ分くらいかな？

About 3 pages I guess?

おーきく写真もたくさんあって

They have big pictures too.

令和にともなって、日本の天皇家のこれまでみたいな特集がくまれていた。

and they are explained about Japanese emperor family's history.

すごいよね。

I was surprised when I saw them.

Cuz here is USA but the articles are good amount.

毎日少しずつ噛み砕いて読んでいたら

And I tried to start reading little by little every day.

少しだけ読むの慣れてきたよ。

Now I'm bit get used to read in English.

そしたら昨日またばあばが新しい記事を送り込んできた。

And again Baa ba gave to me yesterday another news paper.

まさこが大活躍よ！

Masako is doing well!

ってワクワクしながら新聞を渡された。

Baa ba was so excited about the article's talking about.

Seems like they're good friend or something lol.

ばあばはフェミニズムに敏感。

She really susceptive about feminism.

でも日本ももっと女性が活躍できるし、していいよっていう環境になればいいと思う。

Yeah me too.

In the future, I hope in Japan's women get more active like men.

令和はそんな時代になればいいやな。

I hope Reiwa is getting more popular the idea and thnking.

ちなみに新聞読むの慣れたとかゆってるけど

By the way I wrote I get used to read English.

まぢ流してるだけで

Actually just skimming.

新聞の意味は40パーもわからない時有

Often I'm possible to understand 40% what the article about.

辞書もとくにつかわない笑

I didn't check dictionary as well.

意味あるのか？笑

Does it work for me actually?

でも何事もやらないよりはマシな気がしている。

But it's better don't do anything.

I'll do little by little and follow my pace.
