Serious beans

普通の会話はなんとかこなせる。

I think I'm possible to talk basic conversation.

意思疎通もなんとかできる。

Also possible to explain something and people are usually understanding my talking about.

でも、現地の愉快なおじさまがたまにかましてくる

But when gentleman approached me with some jokes.

ジョークへの対応がわからない。

Oh my gosh so hard.

I don't know how to answer it.

むしろジョークと気づかなくて、

Even I usually don't get the conversation is joke.

素直に違います。とか、返事をすると

And if I answer "I'm sorry sir this is different." or something like that,

だいたい横にいる奥様が

Often his wife explain to me.

冗談いってるのよ彼！

"No no. He's joking!"

と私へのサポートを入れてくれる。

She usually supports me lol.

ネイティブだったら、

When I meet the situation, I'm always felt "I wish I could be native speaker."

あぁこれは冗談なんだなって

If I'm native, I'm easy to figure out his joke.

うまく、そうなんですよー！ってお客様、違いますよ！

And maybe I'm answer well about it.

とか言えるかもしれないのに

BUT

私は、それは違いますお客様！

I'm serious person always!

ときたもんだからつまんないよね。

Such a boring person!

でも中には意地悪なお客様もいて

And I also have a reason why I'm so serious.

Some customers are aggressive.

本気で騙しにかかってくる場合もあるの。

And they're trying to get advantage of me.

That's why I'm so sensitve.

難しいよ。

So hard to figure out mean or joke person...

判断。

でも回数をこなしていればいつか分かるようになるだろう。

But maybe just I need more experinece.

I'll be getting used it.

日本語ならうまく流せるのになぁ。

If Japanese, I can explain better way I guess.

外国語はやっぱり難しい。

Foreign language is tough.

まだまだ修行がたりない。

I need more practice.

最近は夜がすごく気持ちいい風がふいている。

I like recently's night time.

窓をあけておいたら部屋に気持ちいい風が入ってくるの。

If keep opening window, I can feel very good wind.

By the way middle aged man are often like to joke for somebody even USA.
